This is a song that was written when I was in a downward spiral of sorts. Being alone and living an isolated existence really has an outward ripple effect. I wasn’t even enjoying the simple act of just going to an open mic night. I’d suffer from a heavy dose of narcissism and then a bottom feeding depression. No matter what I did trying to live a “normal” life was just out of the question. I battled between wanting to be seen and being afraid that any day I’d crash and burn in front of everyone. Performing this song came with a lot of bittersweet contrary emotions. This was a time for deep learning for me. Hope the song is able to evoke something in you. Enjoy, stream, share, and download with your friends... or alone with the weight of your own thoughts.
